Propos d’’Europe 9.0 – Des artistes espagnols à Paris
After Hungary and Germany, the exhibition Propos d’Europe is now looking out toward Spain. This direction fulfils two of the Hippocrene Foundation’s objectives.
We keep looking through the kaleidoscope of European creation. Thanks to the artist Carlos Pazos, to whom we are very thankful for his invaluable help in the organisation of this exhibition, Jeanette Zwingenberger, the curator, was able to gather the works of eight artists, both Spanish and wholehearted Europeans. They live in France – or almost so – and are all multilingual. Propos d’Europe 9.0 takes up one of its founding principles when mixing the works of particularly renowned artists – Miguel Angel Campano, Esther Ferrer, Jaume Xifra, Evru Zush and Carlos Pazos with those of emerging artists – Blanca Casas Brullet, Angel Vergara Santiago and Emilio López-Menchero. In addition to this particular exhibition, please remember that Propos d’Europe promotes encounters between artists who for almost ten years have been participating in this series of exhibitions and thus creating a network of European artists.
