HIYEE ! Hippocrene Inspiring Young Europeans Ecosystem

Launch of the first European youth engagement citizen network
 
 
HIYEE! is a movement launched at the end of 2020 by associations and social enterprises that have decided to join their efforts to give young Europeans a taste for Europe.
 
HIYEE! was born from a shared vision: “the future of the European construction goes through the common commitment of citizens from different countries, especially young people, on themes that directly concern them in their daily life and for their future: living together, environment, employment, migrations, human rights, education, peace …”
 
Organized around the Hippocrene Foundation1, a reference foundation on European civic engagement, HIYEE! today brings together 19 complementary organizations, 1,150 employees and 32,600 volunteers who inform, raise awareness and engage French and European youth.
 
11 field organizations in the fields of culture, education, equal opportunities, student/youth movements, interfaith dialogue, Europe, art, climate and environment
 
6 associative media (radio, video, social networks, youtubers, animated films…)
 
1 major organization of studies on Europe and human rights
 
1 expert organization on European policies, funding and the setting up of multiparty cooperation projects
 
Signatories of a common charter of values and commitments, these organizations pool their expertise, resources and needs within HIYEE! to :
 
 
– Relay and value local citizen actions and social and environmental innovations carried out on a daily basis in Europe
 
– Inform and raise awareness among young Europeans through studies, educational tools and information campaigns
 
– Support the commitments and projects of young French and Europeans (training, funding, material and skills support, mentoring …)
 
– Organize and promote cultural, ecological and social events for youth
