From 3 to 23 July 2016 this festival invited audiences to experience a new kind of musical journey across Europe, through the varied works of 36 European composers, including György Kurtág (Hungarian) Johannes Brahms (German), and Abe Schwartz (Romanian). There were 26 concerts in total: 21 at the Hôtel de Soubise, Archives Nationales, (Paris 3ème) and two series of free concerts: in Parisian parks and gardens (Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, Square Saint-Lambert) and “Family concerts” bringing classical music to Sunday walkers and family audiences.
