Do it yourself citizenship – Experiencing citizenship through multiple forms of engagement

Do it yourself citizenship – Experiencing citizenship through multiple forms of engagement
The 2017 programme of activities that follows the central theme of “Do it yourself citizenship – Experiencing citizenship through multiple forms of engagement” on the premise that citizenship is not just a legal status linked to nationality, but above all it represents a possibility open to all to participate actively in the life of society. This programme is designed to get young people aged 16 to 25 thinking about the many opportunities offered to them as French and European citizens and allow them to appropriate them. The theme will serve as a guiding principle for the educational aspects of the sessions and the choice of committee topics to enable young people to work on areas related to European news and so address concrete issues. The 2017 activities are structured around 3 areas, representing 3 forms of citizen engagement today: 1. Exchange and debate; 2. Organise themed events; 3. Transmit.
