Bună ziua la Roumanie !
This project aims to establish educational partnerships between fifteen or so Sarthe secondary schools and around fifteen Romanian high schools. Each secondary school enrolled for the project receives the contact details of a partner institution in Romania with which it exchanges during the year. To initiate and facilitate exchanges, the Maison de l’Europe offers a series of events/games during the year to which the French and Romanian partners must respond together. During a school year over 350 pupils from Sarthe and 350 Romanian high-school students work together to discover the partner country. On the French side, at the end of the school year, the 350 secondary school pupils gathered together for a major festive event where everyone could realise the work achieved during the year and the partnership developed with the Romanian establishment. A competition was organised and the class finishing first won a trip to Romania allowing them to physically meet the Romanian partner.
