L’Europe, les démocraties locales et l’innovation territoriale
The project involves young students from every country in the EU meeting together at university summer schools to discuss subjects vitally important to the future of Europe.
From 9 to 12 July 2016, the European University summer school this year took the form of a seminar on the contribution of local democracy to the building of Europe, as part of the project for the creation of the European College of local self-government and territorial innovation. The discussions were intended to broaden understanding of the significance of the College’s creation, and focused more specifically on partnerships for setting up training actions, linking researchers with players from local or regional authorities, not only from the European Union but also from the EU’s partner countries.
